Transportify is a South African nonprofit initiative. This notice explains how we handle information submitted through our pre-launch parent and driver registration form.

Information we collect

We collect your name, email address, mobile number, area, selected registration type and any optional school, route, operator or vehicle details you choose to provide. We also record basic referral and campaign information so we can understand how people find the initiative.

Why we use it

We use required registration details to plan the local pilot, assess community demand and contact potential participants. We send general launch or community emails only when you separately consent to those updates.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your information. Access is limited to people supporting the Transportify launch and service providers needed to securely operate the platform. We retain pre-launch details only while they remain useful for planning or while we have a legal reason to keep them.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete your registration, or withdraw optional marketing consent, by emailing transportifysa@gmail.com. South African data protection rights may also be exercised through the Information Regulator.

Location information

This website does not collect live location information. Any future pilot location feature will receive a separate, detailed notice and will be limited to authorized users and active journeys.
